I've been picking up a few of Christopher Moore's books to read lately. I like his stuff but I like to only read a few at a time. They're fun and I don't want to run out. ;)
I've been meaning to start this series for awhile. It started out slightly slow but then just kept gaining momentum. It was cute the way they integrated the baby girl as an anchor in the story. Of course, she needed to be but such a young and fairly helpless character can slow a story down.
You do feel sorry for the father, he never really does get past B male status but I wasn't so surprised the daughter was the one. Though I don't like the passing of his character at the end. I felt that was a cheap shot.
And by the by, I loved the Asian lady and the way she was always stalking dinner. That was too funny! :D
