Leena Landerin esikoisromaani. En tiedä, halusiko hän tulla uudeksi Kaari Utrioksi. Kelpo yritelmä sillä saralla tämä 1650-luvulle sijoittuva romaani silti on. On rakkautta ja juonitteluja ja ajankuvaa. Miehet eivät ole yhtä mustia tai valkoisia kuin Utrion romaaneissa eli paha ei ole läpeensä paha, hyvä on kyllä puhdas kuin pulmunen. Ihan hyvin viihdytti.
