Wonderful, wonderful in every way - story, history, and the two stars of the magical tale. Bishop Latour and Father Vaillant travel from France to New Mexico and beyond in 1851 and all their adventures and fellow travellers are based on true historical fact. I am so sorry that I had to wait until I am 86 to discover this wonderful author and her magic with words!
