3 journalers for this copy...
I found three Paul Doherty books for 2 euros in the market today. This is one and will be heading to another BCer.
One of a pack of three Paul Doherty medieval mysteries heading off to North Yorkshire.

I love getting books through the post - and getting three books at once is Very Exciting! Thank you, bluenoser :-)
I've enjoyed several of Paul Doherty's Hugh Corbett mysteries but not yet this one, the 4th of 17 apparently, so I'm happy to add it to the reading piles, thank you very much! Of course, I can't promise when it'll find its way back off the groaning shelves ....

1299, approaching the turn of the century!
Walter de Montfort, Dean of St Paul's, is poisoned during mass attended by Edward I and his court, lords of church and state. He dies after drinking from the chalice that was to be offered to the king next. Was he the intended victim? Or had the murderer found his target?
Hugh Corbett is called on to investigate, with the help of his servant, Ranulf!
Thanks again, bluenoser - another masterly story from a master storyteller!

Left with the other books on offer on these well-stocked bookshelves!
Over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 more than ten million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!
Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!

Found this on the shelf at Trinity a couple of weeks ago when we took the grandson for a day out in Leeds. I left some of my own books there and as usual tried hard to avoid taking any home and then I spotted this!📚😃
Thanks again Nu-Knees. I like the way the author wraps the fiction round actual historical events.
Eunice and I are communion stewards at our church, so it's our job to prepare the bread and wine. We'll have to make sure nobody can get access to it. We don't want to lose our minister!
