Leaving on the bookshelf.
Caught at today's meet-up, I enjoy Helen Forrester so will happily place this on to Mt TBR.
An easy read, as is Forrester's style, and a great insight into Liverpool through the WW2 years. I am hoping she has written a sequel to this, as I have now read all her memoirs of her early life and what a tough existence it was, I am now desperate to learn how things turned out for her post war.
