"The key to eternal life has been found beneath two thousand feet of icy water in an area known as the "Lost City." To a family of ruthless French arms dealers the Lost City is the key to world domination. To Kurt Austin, leader of NUMA's Special Assignments Team, and his colleague Joe Zavala, it may be their greatest—and deadliest—challenge of all."

I picked this book last Thursday for my dreadful trip (two funerals; mum and a friend and a favorite author)... so many days, so few reads. I won't be able to concentrate. But Cussler is always Happy Reads for me. Will try.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I packed this book with me for a trip of six weeks. Long story, a very emotional trip for me. I have met bad people and good people. Right now I'm hoping to get home tonight, to be with my own family, in my own bed. Six weeks, three funerals, selling one's mother's house...
What a trip.

I like Cussler and want to read this book later. But right now, while I'm about to get home, I want to leave a little bit of me here in Finland. A lost city. What a perfect title...

I am leaving this book at the book swap on gate 27 to travel wild in this world as a memory of my friend Jim who has recently made me discover many things. The beauty of the Finnish skies... How there can be so many different countries in one place. Jim, I will always remember you, and I will always toast to you when I have some vodka, when I pass in Kallio, and when I look at the skies. Perhaps at the skies anywhere, not just in this country...

Safe journey little book - I hope you'll make many new friends on your travels!

"Don't ever apologize to an author for buying something in paperback, or taking it out from a library (that's what they're there for. Use your library). Don't apologize to this author for buying books second hand, or getting them from bookcrossing or borrowing a friend's copy. What's important to me is that people read the books and enjoy them, and that, at some point in there, the book was bought by someone. And that people who like things, tell other people. The most important thing is that people read... "

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

aetm, I'm sorry for your losses.

This book didn't get a chance to travel around Finland as I took it to Malta with me. I don't read Cussler's books but my companion enjoyed it as the cheesy and mildly chauvinistic action book that it is. Hopefully the next reader will enjoy it too and then help the book along on it's journey.

The book is in the bookshelf of hotel Pergola. I wish someone good luck in finding the shelf since the hotel is a maze.
