Found yesterday while picking out a spot to watch the Canada Day fireworks :D
Happy I finally got to this book! I didn't realize at first that it was the same author as Blood and Chrysanthemums, which I really enjoyed. This was another slower paced vampire novel - different that her other book I had read. A story about people finding each other, and looking for a way out of their own personal nightmares. The ending was what I was expecting (though also hoping) for, so it was a bit predictable. I also still enjoyed the author's writing style.

Picked up at the July meeting!
We had an outdoor meetup at my daughter's yard. A little chilly, but the rain held off for us. This was one of the books I brought home. Never quite sure about Vampire books but thought I would give it a try.
OK, so this was a vampire book, which I normally don't really like. BUT, it was an interesting story. Past debts, permission required, being held "captive", and the way the story played out. Interesting end.
I was at a meetup at Cravings and passed this back to its original reader.
