From the back cover:
Travel writing is one of the oldest and most appealing forms of narrative. As William Zinsser notes in his introduction to They Went, "The form is infinitely welcoming, renewing itself every year with writers who bring fresh powers of observation to the places they visit." In volume 6 of the Writer's Craft series, six peripatetic masters of travel writing describe how they translate their journeys into prose that creates a vivid sense of place.

Journal Entry 3 by wingsolittletimewing at Portland, Maine USA on Tuesday, July 29, 2014
This book looked interesting when I found it in the huge piles of books at the table at the July 26th Boston BookCrossing Meeting, so I brought it home with me. I really enjoyed seeing some BookCrossing friends there again.

And this book might be perfect for the new http://www.bookcrossing.com/forum/23/509865/ Travel Challenge.
