A biography of Muhammed written in 1992. Part of my journey through the writings of Karen Armstrong.
I enjoyed the fact that Karen Armstrong makes Muhammed a person in this book. Too often figures like Muhammed are presented as if from a distance, so that they never quite seem to be actual people. I don't get that feeling here. The book also integrates Muhammed's life and teachings well.
