#3 in the series and next up for my reading.
I don't know...this was a nice light read, but I must say that after reading this 3rd installment in the series, I'm a bit annoyed with Agatha's mood swings regarding her handsome neighbor, James Lacey. Every ten minutes she changes her mind about whether she is attracted to him or not. Denial, wishful thinking, reality check...I think it's supposed to be amusing but for me it's starting to get tiring.
There are a few humorous parts, but not nearly as many as in the first-in-series, Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death. I enjoyed that so much that I wanted to continue the series. Now, I'm not sure. I hear that Beaton's other series starring Hamish Macbeth is good, so will probably try that next.
Many people love the Agatha Raisin series, so don't let this review keep you from reading it!
