The Radleys

I didn't manage to finish it but I think this was due to too many vampire books at the time.
I picked this up at the York bookcrossers meetup last week. I'd been vaguely meaning to read it so was glad to see it there, thanks. Not started it yet.
I enjoyed this light-hearted vampire novel. It's a quick and easy read. The fact that it's set just up the road in Bishopthorpe was the most appealing thing about it in the first instance, but I liked it for the humour and the plot too. It was fun. Not sure about vampires flying though - that's not canon is it?! Took me by surprise, that one.
I'll pass it onto my sister next. She's registered on bookcrossing but you can't trust her to log on and journal the books :-).

My elder daughter is clearing her bokshelves in preparation for a house move - and 'returned' this BookCrossing to me! I knew it hadn't passed through my hands previously, not nearly enough stickers on it for a start (LOL!), but it wasn't until I got home and entered its BookCrossing Identity Number on the site that I saw it was my younger daughter who'd given it to her .... She read it some time ago so wasn't prepared to make detailed comments - but felt sure they'd be positive if she did!! I'm not sure what happens next!
Greetings, tree-hugger!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Given to a friend of tree-hugger's when half a dozen of us got together this evening! Good to see you!
Well over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 more than eleven million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!
Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
