The Georgia flu explodes over the surface of the earth like an atomic bomb. News reports put the mortality rate at 99%.

Civilisation has crumbled.

Twenty years later, A band of actors and musicians called the Travelling Symphony move through their territories performing concerts and Shakespeare to the settlements that have grown up there. Twenty years after the pandemic life feels safe.

But now a new danger looms and threatens the hopeful world the survivors have tried to rebuild.

This book was sooo good. The pacing was quick and the story was never dull. The characters, whilst not necessarily likable were at least well-rounded. A brilliant read.
