Found at the lovely Little Library and looks like it could be interesting.When the second world war separates Victoria and her husband three different men are powerfully attracted to her.
Like the author of this book, I was born during World War 2 and have no first hand memories of the time. So now and again, I like to read about those days. This book was much better than expected. It was not mushy but revealed the horrors of the times as they affected different people. The most interesting part was the espionage activity in France.
I'm glad I found you little book, and read you and now will add it to my ready to release pile.

Picked up at the wonderful Pyrmont Community Book Exchange Book Crossing Zone.
The structure is a little unusual, leading me to think the author wrote it in scenes and then brought it together as a novel. It is warts and all tale of experience of World War II, and better that I expected when I started it.
