This is a brilliant read. I liked that it was written very much from Bruno's point of view and his incomprehension at the disturbing things happening around him. the ending comes at you with a pit of the stomach terrible inevitability - powerful stuff. Thoroughly recommended.

Good device of using the childs eye view. Excellent read.
KORKY'S MUM 8/10
Beautifully underwritten from the childs point of view. This book capture the Holocaust in minute everyday detail from the interaction of two boys - both different and both the same. Even having a good idea of the ending makes it no less heartbreaking. This is a must read for everyone.

A little different to the film in some place's, ends different to the film, good book to read, also would recoomend the film aswell as both book and film are the same
