This good-condition B&N-edition hardcover has been among my prized "death" books for many years now, and while I've enjoyed it, I think it's time it went traveling.
The book includes intriguing looks at the social, artistic, and cultural aspects of burial practices, with some (though too few for my taste!) fascinating photographs of funerary art and sculpture, and of the depictions of death and burial practices in literature. A great reference for anyone who has an interest in graveyards!
