All She Was Worth

Detective Honma gets called by his wife's nephew to find out where his fiancee has disappeared. When Honma (always so polite, and now investigating while he should be resting as he's on sick leave from the police) starts to dig in, it soon turns out the fiancee wasn't what she claimed to be. Who was she, and what happened?
A bit slower pace, and with less violence and crazy twists and turns than I tend to like in crime books, yet - just perfect.
Brilliant atmosphere - post-consumer craze Japan, with traditions (including how the track of people and the paperwork works) and the new, and with characters I'd like to meet again in other stories.

On the way in the mail to Sonkku - enjoy :)
(And feel free to release locally or even take with the next travels with you, I think some people in the North might love this book too)
Safe journey little book - I hope you'll make many new friends on your travels!
"Don't ever apologize to an author for buying something in paperback, or taking it out from a library (that's what they're there for. Use your library). Don't apologize to this author for buying books second hand, or getting them from bookcrossing or borrowing a friend's copy. What's important to me is that people read the books and enjoy them, and that, at some point in there, the book was bought by someone. And that people who like things, tell other people. The most important thing is that people read... "

Ok book and interesting. Family register thing went little over my head. I didn't understand all of it. There was also much bank things which were little too much to me. End of book stays open.
I will send book to next reader. Enjoy!
Arrived in the mail a little while back. Looks really interesting - thank you!
