I saw some good reviews of this one on Amazon so I decided to give it a try. It's about a bored single dad who gets hit on by a usually-reserved pediatrician - not the typical yaoi couple at all! (Some of the characters also appeared in Bond of Dreams, Bond of Love, though it's not necessary to have read that series to follow this one. Still, since it's that series' Ryomei - who's been fending off the advances of young Ao - who reacts with shock at Shuji's revelation that he slept with a guy, it is amusing to have read both.)

I liked the way the relationship developed, with Shuji, the single dad, displaying a "player" attitude about sex - as in "will try anything" - while the doctor seems interested in a more personal relationship. There's some steamy sex, some amusing interruptions and misunderstandings, and a rather poignant tone - will the easily-bored Shuji be able to sustain a more serious relationship, and does he even want to? I'd read more of this series.

I really liked this one, nothing bad to say about it except I didn’t like the misconception that ‘once guys start they can’t stop’ in sex. What a scary attitude. So if I get a cramp or something, I get “Oh no, I’m a man so I can’t stop, just deal with it!”?? Eff that attitude. It doesn’t fit the ‘kind’ characterization of Saji but whatever, it’s the mangaka’s issue.

I’d love to read the next in the series in any case!
