The only science fiction book on my shelf. It's very good, but seems somewhat dated now. There are no wormholes or dilithium crystals, just a dystopian view of a society so structured and artificially controlled that insanity seems the sanest choice.

Excellent book about a potential dystopian future.
I can understand why it is compared to 1984, and in some ways it is a better story about this future.
