I really enjoyed this book. It follows 3 men and a dog who decide to take a boat up the Thames, not quite as easy as you think given it was written in the days that you pulled the boat up the river by means of a tow rope. It was very humorous and definitely a light read. I am tempted to try and cycle the route that they travelled on my bike.

Thank you for sending this my way. I know of this book but can't remember having read it, because of the size of Mt TBR it may be a while until I get the chance to read it.
I think that I may have read this many, many years ago as a few things appeared familiar. A fun light read.

Been in my TBR pile for a while, being released in a box of books to a fellow bookcrosser.
When I was at school, for lines in detention my English teacher would make us write "Jerome K Jerome, author of 3 Men in a Boat said.....". Sadly I can't remember what he said so either I wasn't naughty enough to write enough lines or it just wasn't all that enlightening ! Regardless I have never actually read it so I'll give it a try and see.
