Treasures is a free book (I paid 20p from a Scottish charity shop!) for all of Scotland to share, celebrating the nation’s most loved possessions & collects together stories and poems from the Scottish public with pieces from some of Scotland’s best-loved personalities.
Journal Entry 2 by Plum-crazy at Brighouse, West Yorkshire United Kingdom on Sunday, August 24, 2014
A mix of (very) short stories/memoirs some of which I liked (" Still You Treasure.." & "The Resonant Chord" are two I recall), some of which I didn't & some which I didn't understand - two literally... "Ma Coal Fire" I needed to read aloud & "An Rud as Piriseil Dhomhsa" is in gaelic (I think!!)
