I'm half way through this on my kindle at the moment but sent a paperback to my lovely pal Carole888 in Perth ages ago without registering it. Bad Dobby!

Hellooo! Yes, this arrived at Christmas time and I was so excited to receive it. Our bookclub is reading it this month and I have only just finished it yesterday. It was a very quick read. Now that I've got to the end, I am not too sure about those characters .... I sympathised for them, but then they went ahead and did things which I felt uncomfortable with .... which is only human, I guess and who am I to judge anyway. Will be interesting to see what you think, house-elfdobby, when you finish your copy.

The book was a page-turner and I couldn't put it down so I ended up taking it along with me reading little paragraphs in between whenever I could. I stayed up late last night to finish it. It is a light and easy read. I love the cover too.

I looked up the author's website - HERE We will be discussing this book at June's meeting so it will also be good to hear how the other's go with it.

This is an update to let you know that the June meeting went well. Some actually had the audio and got confused with who was who as the reading did not make it clear as to which narrator was speaking. Some members of our bookgroup ended up reading this copy and preferred it to the audiobook. (Brief notes from Bookclub blog are at this link) The next journal is from one of the bookclub readers of this book!!

Three very different women whose lives are somehow connected.
The title of the book says it all.... The secret is HUGE. Would you want to know if it was your husband and then when you found out, would you tell?? Should you tell ? And whom would you tell . The characters while one dimensional are ones you really like .It's a fun read and hilarious in parts. Compelling read. Recommended chic lit.

Carole888 has asked me to write a journal for this book which I borrowed for bookclub last year. It was the first time I've read Liane Moriaty. It was entertaining, and a light-easy read, compared to some of the books we normally read. There are multiple narrators all interconnected. We had a fun discussion too. I thought it would be nice if those who read this book actually added a journal entry and meant to ask them last year ..... The book is about to travel so it's been a mad rush to get the journals in. Thanks everyone for journalling so promptly.

I was at the Perth writer's festival this weekend and the author happened to be signing books there so I joined the queue and yes, the author has signed the book for us!! .... It was lovely to meet her. She had not heard of bookcrossing before and was intrigued. I have popped this book into the OZVBB (virtual book box) and it has been picked so I will be sending it on it's journey soon. :)
