Carmen Palma is a homicide detective in Houston, Texas; a strong female in a world still almost exclusively male. When two women are found murdered in an identical grotesque fashion, Palma suspects the worst: a sexually motivated serial killer.

But, when yet another woman is murdered, Palma discovers an underground network of wealthy Houston women living secrete double lives.
