Blue Heaven is an edge of your seat thriller from beginning to end.
Annie, a twelve-year-old girl, and her younger brother William have decided to go off into the woods to go fishing. What they witness is a murder. The murderers see the children witness the crime and come after them. Annie and William take off running for their lives and find help in Jess Rawlins, a local rancher. While Jess tries to find someone he can trust, the murders are moving in on Annie and William with the intention of killing them as well.
Although there were no big surprises or completely unexpected storyline twist, C. J. Box keeps the suspense high while unfolding the events leading up to the dramatic ending.

giving to dabercro when I see her this weekend
Received from Aberpeter when I was with her this weekend. Thanks!
This is a suspenseful novel. I looked forward to my next time in the car to continue listening to this novel. Four retired, rogue policemen from California committed a murder that was witnessed by two children. In their quest to find the children, other innocent people lose their lives in order for their secret to be kept. The policemen also have another secret from their lives in California that is about to be exposed.
Adding to booklady331's CD only audio VBB.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Chose from the audio VBB. Sending to rebekkila in MI.
I caught this in Booklady's virtual audio bookbox. Thank you
released as part of the audio bookbox.
I picked this audiobook out of HI77's Audiobook Bookbox.
My husband and I listened to this on a roadtrip. We both liked the story very much. In fact, we would find ourselves unable to turn the car off, at times, in order to listen just a little bit longer. The characters were interesting and we especially liked the old rancher, Jess Rawlins. In my mind, I pictured handsome actor Sam Elliot as Jess. That made it even more enjoyable. ;-) LOL!
I am putting this into rhythmbiscuit's Audiobook bookbox. Along it's journey, may it find a new reader.
This has circulated through the recent audiobox round without a taker and rhythmbiscuit has indicated that she will release all books returning to her, so I'm going to pull this one for trade at PBS.
Sending off to PBS member. Enjoy! :')
