As aquarius29 said, the story is a bit confusing. Of course, this is only the first volume, so you can’t expect all the answers. And I’ve seen the movie, so I know what’s going on already. I love the art. My favorite image is of the Earth shattering, with dragons flying around it, and Kamui looking on, wings unfurled, one angelic, one demonic. Kamui holds the key to the world’s future. But what that future is, no one can be sure.

The art is beautiful, but the story line is really hard to follow... Perhaps it will clear up by the second? I've become so used to reading manga back-to-front, that seeing it in an english-style format confused me for nearly ten minutes before I realized I was trying to read it backwards! *grin*

This one is hard for me to follow. I'm hoping I'll be less confused after I read the next one. I've offered this on a bookrelay.

Surprise!

Thanks for the books Daidy. I have been wondering what a graphic novel was. Now I guess I can see for myself.

Well, I found this very hard to follow. Not enough dialogue for me, but thanks for the opportunity to see what it was all about.

It's here. Gotta stuff it out of sight before the open house tommorrow, but it'll be a secret surprise waiting for me when the work is done....

This is a very interesting series. I am glad I had the first 2 volumes, though, as I'm not sure I'd have liked it so much with just the first (things seemed really random in the first volume and disconnected, but started coming together in the second).

This is the second series by Clamp I have read, and they live up to their reputation in this series. The artwork is well done (and I can tell the characters apart, something I have trouble with in a lot of managa) and the story is multi-layered and revealing itself well. For that last point, though, make sure you have 2 volumes to start with.

I am definately going to have to keep an eye out for the rest of this series.

Are you sure you want to delete this item? It cannot be undone.
