Wild Honey (Yaoi) (Yaoi Manga)

I went on a book-buying binge, and wound up adding this wolf-boy yaoi to the list. Sadly, the main story ends with a "to be continued", but I can't find a Volume 2 anywhere. Ah, well, that lets me make up my own conclusion tothe story!
The premise: there's a clan of wolf-people who live among regular humans, keeping their identities secret by a combination of stealth and occasional memory-wiping. But Hina's urge to mate overwhelms him on full-moon nights, and he keeps finding himself in the bed of student Tachibana, whose scent intoxicates him. It turns out that quite a few of his other classmates are also fellow clan-members, though they're in on the secret and he, so far, is not; they do what they can to keep Hina away from Tachibana, but the situation can't go on...
Some interesting "must never break cover" stuff going on here, with attendant angst over the possible fate of our lovers - punctuated by some humorous bits, such as the twins wolfing out in horror at the idea of their clan member making it with a human, or in Hina's own fear of cats {grin}.
In the bonus material, there's a short story showing Hina and Tachibana in their first meeting as kids, with chibi-wolf Hina being utterly adorable. And the story "How Many More Steps to Heaven" has a young temple attendant trying to appease the ghost of a boy who was hit by a car; they get... very close, but it's dangerous to let the spirit linger too long before passing on lest it become evil. What are they to do? Nice resolution to this one.

I'm adding this book to my Yaoi Manga shrinking bookbox, which will set out on its first leg tomorrow. (See the bookbox journal here for mailing order and contents.) Hope someone enjoys the book!
Spoilers.
I love the art in this and I love kemonomimi (beast ears)! I also really like how Hina is on top in sex but is also the receiver, but Tachibana is on top sometimes as well.
I enjoyed the story but the whole clan thing wasn’t very detailed at all, why it was sooo important that no outsider ever even got a whiff of what they were. So I found it hard to believe why Hina had such a hard time admitting feelings for Tachibana because of his clan (or was it?? It’s hard to tell).
And then the twins were a puzzle, they seem younger than everyone but they're the ones who oppose it the most, and I couldn’t tell if it was because they wanted to protect their livelihood or because they liked Hina.
Despite that, I was thinking about keeping this manga until the sucky end, where the whole thing just ends with Tachibana having his memory wiped (again, apparently). It’s like they’re starcrossed lovers. But I like a happy ending.
There is more written but it’s not licensed or fan translated.

i enjoyed this one. the wolf ears/furry + yaoi combination is something you don't see that much (at least in the US, as far as i'm aware), and the manga has the added bonus of being more explicit than most (esp. for a june title). the ending does feel unresolved, but it doesn't hurt the overall experience too much, and the bonus story is cute. the artwork is also pretty good overall, although the abnormally long torsos is always a bit weird to me. will prob. hold onto this for a bit.
