You take a risk when looking behind the curtain !

As a French I have to say that the tip being included the waitresses don't see us considering money, rather like sympathetic people, or not... and the other way around.

I worked for a couple of months as a waitress in an Italian restaurant and thought this would be a fun read. However, I found a lot of it to be depressing because she was so unsatisfied with her job. She complained a lot and then just kept waitressing. Then she figures out that waitressing actually provided her a lot of freedom to spend time with her son...and finally appreciates that aspect of the job. Of course, she finally quits and becomes a writer. I sure wish her the best of luck....and I hope she'll be happier now.
