This story is set during World War 2. I will read this one when I can get around to it.

This story actually covered two romances...one in World War 1...the story of the the Mom and the Father and how both families reject them because one is French and the other a German Jew. The story continues with the daughter who finds love after being sent to a prison camp and then escaping.
It was a well written book and I enjoyed it.
