LOVED this book!! Can't recommend it highly enough. I haven't seen the movie yet but I've been told the book is a hundred times better.

This was such a great find! I really enjoyed the book, I read it on my travels through Europe. And I thought it was a very fitting choice of novel to leave behind for someone else. I hope the next person enjoys their discovery as much as I did! Thanks!
(Also I wasn't able to leave it where I found it, but it's still travelling as I dropped it off in St. Stephen's Green, Dublin.)

I'm just a teenager from from Dublin, Ohio. In 9th grade the Book Thief was one of our required reads, and I fell in love. It became my favorite book; I've read it over and over and over again. This summer, the one after my 10th grade year, my school's fiddling group traveled to Dublin, Ireland to perform a concert tour. We set up our equipment to play in a park, and what do I see? My favorite book, just sitting under this pavilion we're playing in. I couldn't believe it. I took it back home with me, where it's currently sitting. I should be sending it away with a friend of mine in a couple of months to continue it's travels.

A story about us playing in the Ireland park, if you're interested:
Our group, Irish Fiddle Fetish ( https://plus.google.com/117386353108272373129/posts/aJi64cpUYuM ), traveled to Ireland to tour and perform. We decided we'd like to play in the park for fun. We knew you needed a permit to perform on the streets, and we didn't have one, so we figured we would just play until we got caught. Around lunch time when the park was full we played a few songs from our set and just had a good time. In the middle of one of our songs we see the local police approaching. Oooops. When we're finished the police go up to our director and ask if we have a permit. He says no, we're American, and the police let us pack up and go. We sing The Parting Glass for the audience and head out. Now we can officially say we got stopped by the Irish police. What fun
