This is the 2nd copy I have received. It is the second book in the Maisie Dobbs' series by Jacqueline Winspear . . . an enjoyable mystery series based in the 1930's.

I enjoyed this book very much. I love the central character, Maisie Dobbs who is really a woman ahead of her time since these books are set in the era between WW1 and WW11. It is good to know that his is only the second book in the series, so there are plenty more to enjoy!
