What a God awful book this was. It reads like it was written by a Year Six student doing a creative writing assignment, or like someone wrote down a Choose Your Own Adventure story as they went along. Really unbelievably terrible. If the author ever sees this, I'm sorry, but it is just hopeless. That is even without taking into account the appallingly poor grasp of physics or the lack of knowledge of even basic astronomy, both of which are inexcusable in a book of this nature. Here's some tips - the closest star to Earth outside of the Sun is four light years away, if gravity stops functioning so will the tides even if the Moon is kept in place, and the Sun needs gravity to keep from being blown apart from being basically a gigantic fusion explosion.

At least it was mercifully short.
