A rather eclectic style of writing which somehow works well. A very impressive first novel and I will be intrigued to see if she can produce a a good second novel. This one clearly draws heavily on her own experiences. Thank you karen07814 for introducing me to this new author.
The book is with me! I forgot to register it, sorry!
This week I was in a trip to Germany and back, so I had time to read it!
It is written like a "statement book", definitely interesting! I like the way the story is written. The names of people and places are amazing! :) I loved that!
The poverty is such a big dread... :( Of course, the dreams we have about something are not like the reality we'll face!...
All in all a good book!
Thank you ardachy for sharing it!
