So there I was, snuggled in my bed when I realized I only had a few pages left in my current book. My husband offered to go into my office and get me another one to have at the ready. I happily agreed and told him which shelves contained my TBR books. I told him to grab whatever, obviously they were all there because I wanted to read them. This was what he returned with.

After all the mixed reviews, many of them talking about how confusing this book is, I was a little daunted and braced myself for anything. I was surprised to blow through it (500ish pages) in 10 days. It is basically a collection of loosely connected short(ish) stories (more novellas, really), that span a variety of locals and eras. I actually really liked it. The writing is fluid and, at times, truly beautiful. There are plenty of themes ripe for discussion and in-depth study, but I simply enjoyed it for what it was - a handful of well written stories.

Thank you so much for sharing!!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Left on the book and magazine cart in the main lobby. Counts for the "Keep Them Moving" release challenge. The cart has been very popular; books seem to fly of the shelves! (They rarely get journaled, but they are clearly appreciated.)
