The backcover says it best: A profoundly moving, deeply inspiring book that no reader will ever forget. Already, Joshua has been called "life-changing" "engrossing," "inspiring," "entertaining." Based on the scrupulously accurate reading of scripture, Joshua has universal appeal and is a true exercise in spirituality.

Received this book my sophomore year in college during a difficult time and found it inspiring.

Finally I finished that book. Although I'm not believing in God, I really like this book except the end, there could have been more. But so it was just like Joshua, simple ;-)

Will send it on Monday 5, April (I hope) to Catwoman in Canada!

Simple story with an uncomplicated message. Some little gems thrown in that make you think. The story made me think what it would be like to Jesus among us again. I'll send the book on to the next person as soon as I get an address. Thanks so much for sharing this book with me. :-)

Thanks so much for sharing this book with us. It has made me take a good look at what religion is supposed to be, and I really needed to read this book at this particular time in my life. (Funny how that works, isn't it? Coincidence? I think not! I think this book came to me exactly when I needed it.) This is a book I will purchase for my permanent collection.

I will be mailing this book to duhwitt in Illinois tomorrow.

Just from reading the back this book sounds great - can't wait to read it!

Well, I don't quite know what to say about this book. I can see what previous people have said about the simplicity and having Jesus among us again, but it just kept repeating the same message over and over again "church isn't what Jesus meant it to be". I know it's fiction, so I shouldn't really be expecting "how it should change" suggestions, but to me this book was lacking something. Oh well - it was a good read. Just not what I expected. On to the next person!

While in the middle of reading this book, my ex-husband shot himself and my 16 year old son was the one who found his Dad. From this book I have found inspiration and comfort that I don't know how to put words to. The simple unselfish example of love shown in this story may very well help me to help my son and both my daughters get through this difficult time. I'd like to share something else that is amazing as well.....I had joined a bookring for the book "Where is God When It Hurts?" I got that book in the mail when I was nearly finished with this one (in the midst of this horrible time) and now will begin reading it. Is this coincidence or something much larger? Thank you so much for sharing "Joshua" it has touched me deeply. I'll get it out in the mail tomorrow to WarEagle78.

Like so many other readers, I found Joshua to be a simple tale but one that was surprisingly engrossing. Helped me focus my thoughts on what is important on a daily basis. Although I finished it about 10 days ago, it is still rattling around in my head, which is unusual. Hmm.

Am waiting on an address to send Joshua further on his journey. Thanks for sharing, 2KidsMom!
