thanks for the RABCK! I am participating in the 2013-2014 read a book set in every US State and Territory. After I read this book I can mark Colorado off my list.
Out of curiosity, rather than a desire to act, Abby impulsively decides to attend the auditions at the local playhouse. While there she stumbles upon a local star who has been murdered. With a close friend being accused of committing the crime and Abby convinced he didn't do it, she sets out to solve the case on her own.
Sucker Punch is full of amusing characters, each of whom have an interesting background. However, the story is very plot driven which makes the overall story mediocre at best.

Received from Aberpeter when I was with her this weekend. Thanks!
An entertaining enough story. It did keep me guessing as to "who dunnit".

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
This book has helped in my quest for more books! :D
I grabbed a whole bunch of books I wanted to drag to the flea market with me, in hopes of trading for book credit.
There is a 'Chris The Bookseller' there, that has been there for all eternity. The guy has like EIGHT booths combined together with so many books that they spill out everywhere! If it wasn't for the heat and the dust, I would say that it was unadulterated heaven! ;)
Not only that, but he has a pretty damn good variety and his prices are generally $1- $3! Not even a fraction of what a used bookstore charges!
I usually only make it there once every couple months, and I drag books I think he'd be interested in to trade for credit. This lucky little book was one of the 'chosen' and is now among many grand fellows of its elk, waiting for a new reader! ;)
