Welcome to BookCrossing!
Thanks for taking the time to read my journal. The book you've found is now yours, no strings attached! You can keep it forever or read it and pass it along like I did. It would be great though, if you could take the time to write a quick note so that I know it found a new home. You can stay annoynomous or sign up. It is free to join and no one gets your email address (plus no spam). If you sign up you will also get notifications if anyone else journals about this book, which is exciting. Please consider using Crossing-Guard as your referring member if you do sign up. Who knows how far this book will travel...
Got this one in a box of books from a fellow BookCrosser that didn't have time to register all her books. Another gem from her, thank you!

This was a fun read about a spoiled princess going to stay in Africa and finding out that her excessive lifestyle is perhaps not all that it is cut out to be. I enjoyed learning more about Africa and the way that people live. Reading the bit at the back, I was pleased to learn that this book came about from the authors personal experience of working in Africa building a school, the part about the spoiled rich girl was fiction.
I have the sequel so will look forward to reading it, soon I hope...
Saving this book for the "Africa, Asia & Australia" themed meeting.

The cover looks awesome. Looking forward to the read. (Totally judging this one by the cover.)

The story line in and of itself was really predictable, but it was a super fast and really great read. Alexandria, despite all her faults is actually a really interesting character and only because of her, I couldn't put this book down. I have no idea how he did it but kudos to Eric Walters for being so completely able to get into the mind of a spoiled fifteen year old rich blonde girl!
(Also, the judge was pretty awesome.)
Will be brought to the next Calgary BookCrossing meetup (on Saturday) and handed off.

Fun quick read. Glad she became less of a princess and saw the real world.
I am bringing this book to the July meetup at Cravings.
Brought this home from the July BookCrossing meeting.
I quite enjoyed this book. It was a quick read but not fluffy.
Taking this to the May BookCrossing meeting to be enjoyed by the next reader.
Just picked up this book at our last meeting, but haven't read yet.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I really enjoyed this book as it was an easy read. It was a book that showed that people can change, as did Alexandria from a rich spoiled brat who thought only of herself, but found out after living in Africa for 3 weeks that she had empathy and wanted to help out by wanting to help build a badly needed hospital.
Caught at October meeting!
Returning to saturdays meeting.
Picked this book up at the monthly book crossing meeting at Cravings Market Restaurant.
This was a surprisingly good read.

Very enjoyable read! The author did a great job making this book humorous without being patronizing.
