Teddy Sexton Memorial
Dec. 8, 1967 - July 24. 2012
The book you are holding once belonged to my friend, Teddy: one of the greatest men that I have ever known. He was the type of guy you could visit in the hospital and he'd make YOU feel better. He was always reaching out to his friends to say hello, share some news, and to remind you that today, right now, was possibly the most important day of your life.
Teddy was big on SF and Fantasy... his love of dragons reflected this... but when Peter Christopoulos gave me Teddy's books for this project, I was surprised by three things... 1} the number of authors that Teddy and I seemed to enjoy and have in common, 2}The Teddy read so many, many books (we'd never talked about books... oh, the conversations we could have had!!! -- Well, as I come across and register these books, I'll have to have little mini one way conversations with Teddy) and 3} When Teddy liked a book very much he never let it go, reading it and rereading it until the covers were falling apart, barely holding a sheaf of soft tissue papers together...
If you knew Teddy and this book ends up with you, PLEASE tell a little story about Teddy. Read the book, if you like. Don't read the book. Share the book, don't share the book... wild release it or keep it forever, it's all good, but PLEASE leave us all a little story about Teddy.
If you have never known Teddy, that's fine, too. Teddy always liked making new friends. And now, by holding this book in your hands, you've been touched by Teddy, like I have and (judging by his funeral) hundreds of people have. Read the book or give it to another friend, right a review or just let us know where the book is now, release it or keep it forever... it's all good. But I do want to hear from this book, it'll be like a phone call or text from Teddy...
Remember, today might really be the most important day of your life.

This is a Fantasy Book Box Memorial Release For Teddy Sexton.
Teddy passed away July 24, 2012. Since then, I've given myself the job of spreading the books he left behind as if they were his ashes. Not all of the books I'm releasing during this time were his; but the bulk have been. I still have many, many of his books left to share.
To the finder of this book, please enjoy it. Please share it with someone. Please help it travel. Thanks!

This book is a RABCK (Random Act of BookCrossing Kindness) from BookCrosser josierivers of Leesville, South Carolina. This book arrived in a box of 22 books and one literary calendar. What generosity! Thank you so much!
I hope to soon release this book into my Little Free Library of Twinbrook (#7720) here in Rockville, Maryland.
There is something very heartwarming about being given the charge to recirculate books that were once cherished by a very special person. I never knew Teddy. May Teddy rest in peace along with my other late BookCrossing friends MaryZee, Dunzy, and Becky Johns (daughter of ResQGeek).
