This Book is Currently in the Wild!
5 journalers for this copy...
This trilogy of memoirs was a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law. I have been watching the TV series based on the books since the beginning, so I look forward to reading the books it's based on.
A satisfying finish to the series. I wish there were more stories, but now will have to make do with the TV show.
On the available pile for now.

Sent today to LittleWhiteBird, who won it in my monthly RABCK drawing. I hope your friend enjoys it!
Thank you, collectorkerri! I'll bring the book to my friend soon.
I gave the book to my friend L yesterday, who has this series on her wishlist.
(I was waiting so long, because she was going to be moving, which finally happened last week.)
She immediately wanted the book with the one she was currently reading so that she could read it next.

My friend has already finished the book and enjoyed it.

I totally enjoyed the first one which I got from the library. Silly me didn't realize it's a trilogy. Look forward to hearing more midwives' tales!!
I enjoyed the first book, and this one too. Very interesting stories.
The author does a great job telling her stories, though it feels like she's taken some poetic license to elaborate the details. Nonetheless, she really brings to life the people of that era, making us partly nostalgic of the old days and partly glad that both healthcare and living standard has advanced so much.
This now goes into the memoir bookbox. Hope the next reader enjoys it as much as I do!

This came home in my Biographies/Memoirs bookbox. Thank you! I have the first in this series but have not yet read it.
