When we went down to the Christmas Market in town this afternoon, I didn't expect to find a book from my Wish List on a stall manned by the local Methodist Church - but I did! I've read and enjoyed all previous Cotswold mysteries featuring the man-hungry private detective, Agatha Raisin! Entertaining nonsense when you don't want to put your brain into gear!

When Gloria French, seriously annoying incomer to the Cotswold village of Piddlesbury, is found murdered, poisoned with elderberry wine, and the thief who stole a bottle of it from Agatha Raisin's car after she'd started investigating the first murder is found dead in the woods, suspicion falls on Ada White, the home brewer .... and then things really start to get confusing with batty old ladies and witchcraft and blackmail and all sorts of daftness ....
