The book flap says that John Grisham has a new hero in Samantha Kofer. However, I apparently did not read about the same person. The Samantha Kofer I met was a spoiled, whiny, wishy-washy 29 year old who couldn't make up her mind what to do, nor did she know how to make a commitment. We learned a lot about coal mining in the first half of the book, if you make it that far, it finally gets a little more action going on. No spoilers, but I really was not impressed.
