Agatha has fallen in love - again. This time it's the local gardener, George Marston, she has her eye on. But competition for his attention abounds. With shameless determination Agatha will do anything to get her man, including footing the bill for a charity ball in town just for the chance to dance with him. But when George is a no-show Agatha goes looking for him - and finds he has been murdered.
Agatha plunges into an investigation and discovers that George had quite a complicated love life. And if Agatha now can't have George, at least she can have the satisfaction of confronting those women who have . . . and finding a murderer in the process!

A cozy mystery story, 23rd of Marion Chesney's (M.C. Beaton) Agatha Raisin Series. You don't need to have read the others to follow this light read based in the Cotswolds - an area that appears to be heaving with private detectives and snakes!
Thanks to disneyfreaksam for placing in HerbertLooby's Bookbox.

I enjoyed this Cosy Mystery but I am not too sure if I like Agatha or not!
Would read another Agatha Raisin if it came my way, however for the time being it won't be an author I am collecting on MTBR :)
