A weird book, but maybe not quite weird enough? I read it straight through one night and had a good time. The elements are definitely there: books - old books - strange and unique old books in a curious old bookstore; secrets, puzzles, clues embedded in other books; an old favourite fantasy series, and a lost 16th century typeface. Delicious. Still, the aftertaste is somehow unsatisfying. Maybe I'll have a another go later.

At the beginning this book was really good and I got hooked right away, but somehow it didn't live up to the expectations. Ok book.

Well, I loved this book all the way through! Granted, the epilogue was rather lame, but I didn't mind because I'm a bit fragile and need happy endings right now :) Thank you for sharing, oofiri and kasenka!
