This was given to me as a present and is not really my kind of book. I hope somebody else enjoys it.

This is a very nice surprise. It is historical fiction as I suspected, and with a sort of fairy tale twist (Cinderella?) too maybe? Sounds like something I will enjoy. Very happy with my pick. Thanks again for hosting the International BookXerpting LilyKlip! :)

This was a nice light read. But the ending was a bit too happily ever after and almost everyone suddenly ending up with someone, which felt a bit weird (I didn't like the journalist guy at all).

Released it in the bookcase of the train station.
