Caught off the table at the 'meet & greet' Melbourne convention function at the Baillieu Library at the University of Melbourne yesterday. It was highly recommended by people standing around the table so on to Mt TBR it goes.
Without doubt this is a delight. The writing flows beautifully and the development of the characters and time and place superb. It is a moving tale of friendship that is both poignant and funny. Highly recommended reading.

Picked up at Templestowe Meet up at Green Sage Café 10 May 2014.
Every so often you read a book that leaves you lost having finished it. I didn't want to finish this book. It was a glorious read and beautifully written. Not just a book I loved and enjoyed reading but a lesson in history as well. I am reluctant to pass this book on and have passed it on to a friend who I know will enjoy as well. Not a Book Crosser but hopefully will convert. Book will be returned to me then released again. A definite MUST READ.
Handed over to a friend to take on a caravanning adventure. Let's hope she becomes a "Book Crosser". :)
Taking book on holidays...watch this space!
Unusual title but lovely read
