Out of the Air

I'm almost through reading this book, and I've really enjoyed it. I had never heard of Mary Margaret McBride, though apparently she was quite famous before I was born. She had a radio show and interviewed an amazing number of famous people, as well as the not-so-famous. Just flipping through the photo section, I see her with Eleanor Roosevelt, Emily Post, Bob Hope, General Omar Bradley...many others.
Funny - I got this book for free from a college library give-away. I don't know if I would have picked it up before I became a bookcrosser. Now, however, I know that a free book is worth checking out, even if I've never heard of the title or the author! I'm glad I picked this one up. I'm going to share it with my mom and then see where else it wants to travel.

Our Mom tried to read this book, but she couldn't get into it. She's a tough critic - have to grab her in the first 5 pages or she gives up. I am not interested in reading this one as my to be read pile is starting to rival Mount Everest... Will release this book somewhere, sometime... Unless Rainbowbabe wants to release it herself!
Released to fellow bookcrosser (and sister!) Rainbowbabe when she visited over the weekend. Enjoy!
Funny - I got this book back from RillabeeChime because there was a passage that I wanted to find and make note of. I've searched the book and can't find it! Maybe I imagined it? Anyway, I will look a bit more, and then I'll give the book back to R.C. or release it myself. It's an old book, not too attractive, so it may be better for a trade than a wild release.
Now available for trade!
