Totally fun read, I'm adding his others to my wishlist!

I couldn't resist. This is such a fun book I had to add my two cents in. Below is my comments:

Great Title. I enjoyed this. A light read about how a man acquires 2 parrots, 3 parakeets, 1 dove, 2 geese, 2 turkeys, 3 ducks, 3 rabbits, 2 cats,.... You get the picture. If you'e ever been tempted by birds, you'll enjoy the book.

Put back into the Placed in the Wild Thing Bookbox. Enjoy!

I see this one took a reading detour, then moved back along. I'm taking it out of the Wild Thing book box and adding to the TBR stash. Will be read when matched to a reading or release challenge.

Pulled to read for a wishlist tag

from the Wild Thing bookbox, mostly hilarious and sometimes sobering read. The author and his wife start with a bunny…and then the pets multiply…and multiply. There's actually a list of them at the front of the book, which I had to reference from time to time (who exactly was Howard again??). Birds of varying species were hand fed and let out to roam the house, bunnies had their own area and play time, ducks and geese had a custom divided pen - and supervised backyard play time. The anecdotes and self-deprecating humor was hilarious, but at the same time I just thanked my stars that this couple wasn't living next to ME!
