Me Before You

"Lou Clark knows lots of things.
She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in the Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.
What Lou doesn't know is she's about to love her job and that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane.
Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now, and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that.
What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time."

A German friend of mine recommended this book. I found out it wasn't available in Finnish, so I bought it in an online book store in English even though I haven't read much in English. That's why it also took quite a long time to read this book, because I was reading it having an online dictionary next to me. :) On the other hand, it's quite easy English (just had to check a word every now and then), so I'd like to read also more books by Jojo Moyes in English (even already bought some).
The book itself... I really enjoyed reading it! It was sad, even heart-breaking, but at the same time a lovely story. It's a modern love story dealing with serious topics. It was moving to notice how much Will's and Lou's lives changed when they got to know each other. The end of story was different than I had expected in the beginning.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I'll take this book with me to the meet-up in Kouvola. Let's see if the next reader will be found there or not. :)
The back cover comparison to One Day managed to convince me that this is my kind of a book. Can't wait to start reading!
