For my BCUK Uncon Nss partner - enjoy.

This was book was a real discovery earlier this year. I met the author Anna at an author talk, she was lovely and this book has been loved by everyone I have told about it or bought it for. Hope you love it too.

Found some bc books unread on a shelf. Apologies! This looks fantastic :-)

Released 9 yrs ago (4/10/2015 UTC) at Bookcrossing Convention 2015 in Oxford, Oxfordshire United Kingdom

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I did find this book hard to get into, partly because I had to get used to do the dialect. I enjoyed the story, but didn't find it an easy read. I persevered as I saw it is the author's first book & because it was given to me as a bookcrossing nss gift.

It will be released at the bookcrossing 2015 convention.

Found on the book buffet at the Oxford Convention - looks like my cup of tea!

Took a long time to get into as I was trying to keep the book undamaged and so couldn't read it on the way to and from work. Finally finished it on holiday. Worth persevering with.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Posting to Schnedwards for the UnCon. She was looking for a copy. I haven't read it, to keep it in its current good state (I carry books in my backpack and read on the tube).

Edit - This will actually be sent on 9th May as I decided to keep it and read it at home.

I'm enjoying this book which I thought that I won in the huge prize of books relating to the midlands from the Birmingham Uncon. Reading below I may have just picked up from the table of books on offer. The dialect was a bit of a problem initially, but it is great on the history of towns between the wars struggling with industrial change. I'm going to release this at work in our coffee room.
