This book was awesome. Even if your not a big fan of horseracing as a sport, you'll fall in love with Seabiscuit and be completely intrigued by the men/ women portrayed in this story. It encapsulates a bit of American History, horseracing, amazing characters and the exitement involved in racing. At times, I felt as if I was riding alongside them or so filled with suspense about how the race would turn out. Amazing!! P.S.: Although the movie was pretty good, it does not compare to the book! A must read.

This book is promised to my friend prior to be setting free through bookcrossing.

"#1 New York Times Bestseller

In Seabiscuit Laura Hillenbrand has written one of the best sports biographies in the history of the genre. Prodigiously reported, beautifully crafted, and touched throughout with lyrical grace, the book is a marvelous narrative of non-fiction that reads like a novel. From the starting gate to the wire, Seabiscuit is one memorable read."

Wow! What a ride. I mean read. Delightful and spell-binding. Can't wait to see the movie.
