Bit disappointing. Wasn't exactly what the tag line promised. But supernatural books aren't my favourite, and it is interesting, so perhaps it's just me...

Taking to bc meet up.
Picked up at the BC meetup today - looks interesting,
I have to agree that I think the tagline on this book is optimistic, if not actually misleading. This is not what would have happened to Buffy if she'd moved to New York!!! I really liked the travel guide of the book, and the variety of 'coterie' included. However, I found the first few chapters quite wooden, the twist (of who the eVil! zoetist actually was) hard to believe (and obviously very convenient), and the wrap up a bit underwhelming. It was an ok way to spend a few hours, but I wouldn't bother with the next book in the series

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Not having ever watched Buffy I didn't know what to expect from this. It's not the sort of thing I usually read. The concept was amusing and it was well-written though it got a bit bogged down after the middle. I gave it to a friend who's a fan of the genre.
