One moonlit June night, seventeen year-old Lea Kovacev sets out to meet her secret lover by the cliffs of Ottawa's Hog's Back Falls. Three days later her nude body washes up in the shallows downstream. When the autopsy reveals she was dead before she hit the water, Inspector Green suspects murder. His investigation draws him into the manipulative world of elite young athletes, drugs and teenage sexuality that soon claims another innocent life. Who is the secret lover, and how far will others go to shield him? How many others, including Green's daughter, will pay the ultimate price for a young man's dream?
Great Mystery. Picked this up at When Words Collide and now want to read more of this series. Liked Inspector Green and other interesting characters. Good plot and it kept me going.

My husband and I both enjoyed this book. I would like to read another Inspector Green story. This one kept me reading and wanting to know more.
Taking this book to the November meeting at Cravings. This was a book I purchased at When Words Collide and enjoyed listening to the author speak.
Picked up at the November Bookcrossing meetup.
Enjoyed the Canadian premise of the book. The characters were real and you felt Green's challenges both at home and on the job. Nice to be introduced to a new (to me) Canadian author.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Taking the book to the July bookcrossing meeting.
Picked up at the July 2014 meet-up of Calgary BookCrossers at Cravings Restaurant Market.
This was an enjoyable mystery by a Canadian author that is new to me. Although this is his 6th novel in the Inspector Green series, it read like a stand-alone story.
The mystery seem pretty standard and I almost bailed, once it ramped up it turned into a pretty good page-turner that kept me guessing.
Thanks for sharing this book with us!
